Rick Grimes/Negan, also known as Regan or Negick, is the slash pairing of Rick Grimes and Negan in The Walking Dead fandom.
It started out by Negan weakening Rick and also deriving pleasure through sadistic actions, but I think somewhere along the way Negan developed a bit of an interest.[1]
Canon
TV Series
Rick and Negan meet at the end of season 6, Negan kills Abraham and Glenn and forces Rick's group to work for the Saviors. Rick and Negan are enemies, but Negan is often portrayed as trying to be Rick's friend. At first Rick tries to live under Negan's rule, but over time finds he can no longer do so. Rick's group joins with other communities and they begin All Out War against Negan and the Saviors.

Rick/Negan is the most popular slash pairing for Negan, and the second most popular slash pairing for Rick, based on stories posted to Ao3.
Common Tropes in Fanworks
- Non-con or Dub-con: Negan using his powerful position to push Rick into a relationship
- Forced Marriage stories appear, with Rick forced to become Negan's husband and move into the Sanctuary
- Some stories use Negan's collections from Alexandria as a jumping off point, with Rick making a deal with Negan to enter a sexual relationship in exchange for the Saviors taking less resources from Alexandria. These stories are often dub-con.
- No Zombie Apocalypse AU: modern setting, where no Zombie Apocalypse takes place
- Canon Divergence AU: varies, Rick meets Negan earlier in the series, Rick becomes Negan's prisoner instead of Daryl
- Hurt/Comfort: Negan comforting Rick after he has done things to Rick or his group
- Jailbird Negan: set when Negan is imprisoned at Alexandria and Rick is his jailer
