Overview
Piper McLean is one of the main characters of the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan and one of The Seven of the Great Prophecy. She is a demigod child of Aphrodite, and one of the only ones to have the ability of Charmspeak. Charmspeak allows her hypnotise people to do anything she commands. Her father, Tristan McLean, is a famous Cherokee actor.
Her weapon is Katoptris, a parazonium dagger made of Celestial Bronze which once belonged to Helen of Troy. Piper can also use it for looking into the future (in Greek, Katoptris means "Looking glass" or "Mirror").
Relationships
Jason Grace
At the beginning of The Lost Hero, Piper is in a relationship with Jason Grace. However, at the beginning it was only the Mist which made Piper thing that Jason was her boyfriend—in reality, they were false memories. Later on, in The Demigod Diaries, Leo Valdez remarks that Piper and Jason are dating.
Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano
Piper was shown to admire Reyna for her control of herself. Initially, Piper wanted to dislike Reyna because of Jason.
Annabeth Chase
From the beginning, the two had a good friendship and Piper even says before getting claimed that she wants to be a daughter of Athena too.
Drew Tanaka
Drew and Piper are rivals, and Drew often attempts to embarrass or insult her.

Piper is often paired in relation together with Annabeth (Pipabeth) or Reyna (Pipeyna). A rarer ship is Drew/Piper, probably based on the idea of Hatesex.
Some het ships are popular too, for example Jason/Piper and Leo/Piper. Sometimes those 2 ships are mixed, resulting in Jason/Piper/Leo.
Since Piper and Jason's breakup, their relationship has decreased in popularity, especially due to canonically unhealthy aspects. Piper has been confirmed to be sapphic, as she was seen kissing a girl named Shel, and their relationship has become more popular with Shel's fanon personality.
