TV Series
Michonne is introduced in the last episode of Season 2, when she saves Andrea from walkers. Michonne and Andrea travel for several months together until they are picked up by The Governor's men and brought to Woodbury. Michonne and Andrea disagree on the best course of action and Michonne leaves on her own. The Governor's men track down and try to kill Michonne, she escapes but is injured. She seeks refuge with Rick's group at the prison. Michonne soon becomes a contributing member of the group. At the end of the Season 3 Rick must decide whether or not to give Michonne to The Governor in order to broker a deal, he decides against it. Mid Season 4 The Governor attacks the prison, although the prison is destroyed, Michonne kills The Governor. After the fall of the prison Michonne finds Rick and Carl, at the end of the season they are reunited with the larger group. In Season 5 Michonne is instrumental in convincing Rick to accept their invitation to the Alexandria Safe Zone. In the latter half of Season 6 Michonne and Rick begin a romantic relationship. After Negan and the Saviors take over their group, Rick and Michonne disagree on the best course of action. Michonne tries to go it alone, but decides "I had to go my way. But when I found it ... I realized that ... I didn't want it to be my way. I wanted it to be ours -- me and you."[2]
