• Samirah al-Abbas from Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard - Sam was the first confirmed Muslim character in Rick Riordan's mythological universe. She is a hijabi daughter of Loki, and as a result has struggled with her faith. She is engaged to Amir Fadlan, who is also Muslim, and they follow most traditions in relation to their engagement.
• Yasmin Khan from Doctor Who - Yaz was the first onscreen companion of the Doctor to be a Muslim, and though this was largely seen as a positive amongst the progressive side of fandom, it was also criticised for being mostly 'blink and you'll miss it' and largely forgotten about throughout much of her run. Fanworks will often feature Yaz's islamic culture much more prominently.

Muslim Manga

Muslim Manga is a group of artists that aims to teach about Islam and inspire young Muslims through the medium of manga. While most of their works are original stories, some are fan works. An Enlightening Lesson is based on Naruto and concerns a class about Islam at the Academy. Another Naruto story, Izza's Journey, is about a new Muslim student. The story Underwater Fantasy features a Muslim Pokémon trainer.
