Hey gardeners, I have this image that needs deletion: http://fanlore.org/wiki/Image:Torment.lego.jpg
I was playing around and had not read the image policy yet, and it's not a necessary illustration. Trying to reach you through here, if it doesn't work I'll send a mail :) --Lian 11:06, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- No worries Lian, done!
--Hope 22:31, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi hi, so gardener edits are marked as bot edits by default. I guess this is supposed to be a benevolent feature, but what it does, in fact, is take my edits subject lines, complete with remarks and questions, out of the big happy conversation that is the Recent Changes page.
There are enough people refreshing recent changes that often someone will come to your aid if you put HELP! in the edit subject, so -- I feel deprived of that ;_; And I can't force everyone to switch on 'show bots edits' in their preferences. What is the rationale behind the default bot stamp? Does it make sense to switch the default off? Can it even be changed? (I couldn't find a way to change it myself, so sorry if this is a dumb question.) --lian 15:32, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- So that's why you and Ainsley aren't showing up. That was weird. --Seperis 21:13, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- heh, plus it makes me look LAZY! And like the Phantom Edit0rz or something *dons invisible mask* --lian 21:18, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ah. I was wondering why I wasn't seeing myself. I thought I was did something wrong. Well now I know. I should go back to calling myself silent shadow. *g* --elgraves 07:00, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, will fix this in the had wiring. I think it's possibly to 'show bots' in your preferences when you're looking at the recent changes (but agreed, it's not something people will do by default). --Hope 12:18, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- thank oyu, Hope, I can see myself in the magic mirror again! :) --lian 09:15, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Registering interest in gardening. --Seperis 23:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- I withdraw my request. --Seperis 19:58, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Also interested in gardening. It'd be useful for the list of Gardener traits to indicate what they can do that normal users can't. (Anyone can create a Talk page, AFAIK. Or is this not a talk page? And I don't know if anyone can upload files, and so on. --Elfwreck 23:33, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
~Yes. I have minor experience in keeping plants alive & am willing to learn. :) --Lian 23:43, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Add me to the list. :) --Arduinna 23:51, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
I should be on the list already, but doing this just to be certain. (re: interest in gardening) --ainsley 15:47, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi all here, sorry for the radio silence - we're still wrangling technical aspects (discussion lists and whatnot) as well as juggling all our other stuff. We've given the people who emailed us gardener permissions already (nothing personal, just had the email list on hand and this page slipped my mind while I had it open!), will be 'upgrading' youse shortly. --Hope 12:18, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Interest in Gardening
Expressing interest in gardening.--Penknife 13:06, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm already doing a lot of gardener-type cleanup, so I might as well request to be made a gardener so I can do things like rename and move myself rather than have to pester someone else. --Kyuuketsukirui 09:11, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Arg -- asleep at the wheel
I don't know why I put someone's LJ name in as the entry name -- can you fix for me? It's the entry for brynnmck -- it should actually read as a real sort of name, Brynn McK. Thank you (hides in embarassment).--gwyn 21:32, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Done! --Kyuuketsukirui 21:38, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
