I'm a multifannish German gamer with a strong fantasy background: I, too, was a Mary Sue in Middle Earth. Nowadays I prefer urban/alternative fantasy. I'm a fifty/fifty (old-skool) western RPGs (BioWare/Black Isle!) and JRPGs fan and currently particularly excited about anything forthcoming from BioWare, but a bit bummed out about JRPGs. (I'll always happily fangirl Miles Edgeworth, though.)
In my non-gaming time I'm also a member of the Organization for Transformative Works Translation and Internationalization & Outreach committees.
