Some fans enjoy compiling lists and organizing print zines, as well as recording history in their fandom. These bibliographies also help fans find things they are looking for.

These resources are much more common in fandoms that 1) were primarily or exclusively based in print aka pre-internet and 2) produced enough zines to make it necessary to organize them.

The mothership of projects was by Roberta Rogow with her project that began in 1977: TrexIndex.

Some of these print resources were later posted online, and they became the basis for an expanded database that included fiction on the internet. Some examples of this are Qfer (Beauty and the Beast (TV)) which became Helpers' Network Quality Fanzine Review Online, and A Guide to Blake's 7 Erotica (Blake's 7) which became Blake's 7 Fanzines, Archived version.
