Elle Greenaway is a fictional main character on Criminal Minds. She works as a member of the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI before resigning after a traumatic event.
Canon
Appears throughout Season 1 and part of Season 2; final appearance in Season 2, Episode 6, The Boogeyman.
In The Fisher King (2 part episode), she is shot by an unsub in her home, which leads her to no longer be able to reliably work as an FBI agent due to PTSD. She resigns after killing a suspect who did not pose an imminent threat to her or others' safety.
