Eddie Munson is a fictional character from the Stranger Things television series, and is portrayed by Joseph Quinn. Eddie first appeared in Season 4 (which aired in 2022) and quickly became a fan favorite.

The Kas Theory

The Kas!Eddie Theory is a popular theory according to which Eddie will be resurrected as Kas the Bloody-Handed, a character from Dungeons and Dragons lore. This follows from a reference to Kas during a Hellfire Club session in season 4, episode 1.

• Fix-it fics where Eddie Munson lives - either because he never dies or because he comes back to life somehow. Season 4 was posted in two volumes, with 7 episodes being released on May 27, 2022, and the final two episodes on July 1, 2022; a lot of fanworks were created or started before volume 2 was released, and before the news of Eddie's canon death.
