Mike Wheeler is one of the main characters on Stranger Things. He appears in a variety of fanworks.
Canon
Aged 12 in Season 1, he is an original member of "The Party," of which he is the de-facto leader. He forms an instant, intense bond with Eleven, hiding her thoughout Season 1, and spends much of Season 2 pining for her. His relationship with Eleven puts a strain on his friendship with Will. In Season 4, Mike is revealed to be the object of Will's (presumably unrequited) affections.
Fandom
In the Season 4 fandom boom, Mike is usually paired up with Will. He also often appears as a side/background character in Steddie stories.
