As You Are — Adult Content Posted: February 2000 After being released from their captivity in a Borg Assimilation Chamber, Chakotay and Tom deal with some disturbing thoughts. Spoilers for Season Six Episode “Collective”.

Day of Decision Posted: July 2000 Tom and Chakotay each reflect on their current antagonism toward each other and come to some decisions. The story is an answer to the CPSG Anniversary Challenge, and is set during the first season.

New Year Chances — Adult Content, PWP Posted: January 1, 2000 Tom decides to let Chakotay know exactly what he wants in the New Year.

No Comfort Series — Adult Content, C/P, Angst, Self-Injury, References to Suicide Work in Progress Finding his life crashing down around him, Tom tries to figure out why this is happening and how he can regain control. In this A/U, “Thirty Days” never happened. Voyager never stopped on the Monean homeworld, instead they took a slightly different course. Also several events in previous seasons are assumed not to have occurred, including the events in “Blood Fever” and Tom receiving any contact from his father. WARNING: This story’s subject matter is at times very disturbing. Severe angst and self-injury. Parts 3 and 4 especially contain disturbing content. This story is unlikely to be completed.

Too Much To Take — Adult Content, Angst Posted: July 18, 2000 Revised: October 8, 2000. After helping B'Elanna return to the Barge of the Dead, Tom suffers violent nightmares. Concerned, Chakotay tries to find out what Tom is dreaming about and why.

The vignette takes place about a third of the way into the story, so consider it a sneak preview. Out of the Ashes will use the final events of Season 3 as a starting point, and then deviate into AU. The vignette has hints about what will happen in the whole story, but it doesn't really spoil things, as it's just Lex's reflections on a moment. And even though the vignette occurs part-way through the saga, I think it can stand on its own.
