Artword (tagline: "where fanart meets fanfiction") is a community on LiveJournal for a monthly Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1 multimedia challenge, based on a different prompt every round, for teams of a fanartist and a fanwriter.

Collaboration between writer(s) and artist(s) was often more intense and frequent than in more common Big Bang and Reverse Bang challenges.

The most recent challenge ended in May 2009. Artword challenges generated several well-known works of fanfiction, fanart, and graphic novels.
