Afterlife With Archie

Afterlife with Archie is a comic published in 2013 depicting a zombie apocalypse within an alternative reality of Riverdale.

Riverdale is a television show based on the characters by Archie Comics. Unlike the original Archie Comics, Riverdale takes a darker tone, with the first season revolving around the mystery of Jason Blossom's murder. The show was developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who also wrote Afterlife With Archie.

Archie's Weird Fantasy

Archie's Weird Fantasy was a play written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa in 2003, which depicted Archie Andrews coming out of the closet and moving to New York. The day before the play was scheduled to open, Archie Comics issued a cease and desist order, threatening litigation if the play proceeded as written. The play responded by Filing Off The Serial Numbers and opened a few days later as "Weird Comic Book Fantasy" with the character names changed.[1] Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa went on to become Archie's Chief Creative Officer in 2014.

Archie Comics is one of the few fandoms banned from at the request of its publisher,[2] however the site does allow fanfiction for Riverdale.[3]
