April French is an author of fan fiction and fan essays. In mailing list fandom she was "April French", took the user name hearts_blood on LiveJournal, and has currently switched to using gaslightgallows. She writes original fiction under the name A. F. Linley.

As a Forever Knight fan, she considers herself to be a member of the Nick and NatPackers, Faithfuls, Dark Trinity, Mortal Siblings, and Cousins of the Knight factions. Some of her writing can be found on her website, KnightWalker - April's Forever Knight Fan Fiction (once on GeoCities, now archived). Her best known series of FK fanfic is Sons of Lilith, for which she invented a collection of tongue-in-cheek mock factions.
