Disabled uploads

Hi, I was intending to add some images to Fanlore this morning but I came across the upload page disabled. But I didn't find any information on the site's Twitter about it. Is it routine or is it a bug? I was a little worried -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 14:07, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

Hey, Ellakbhesse! (Hoping eliadan doesn't mind me jumping in to reply here) Thanks for your message, and apologies for any confusion about the situation with uploads. They're turned off right now due to a concern about possible abuse, but we didn't want to draw too much attention to it which is why there wasn't a public announcement.
