Meaninglessblah is a creator in fandom, contributing mainly fics, art, and some AMVs. They are currently active in the DC Comics fandom, but have previously been an off-screen writer and consumer in the MCU, Sherlock (BBC), Supernatural and Avatar: The Last Airbender fandoms.
History
Meaninglessblah entered fandom in 2009, and has been publicly producing content for the DC Comics Fandom since April 2019.
DC Comics
A self-declared multishipper and rarepair enthusiast, Meaninglessblah has written over 100 works in the DC Comics Fandom. Their works range from general to explicit, and vary in length from standalone to multichapter fics. They co-author several works with batsaboutbats and Joverie.
Their most extensive works include Check Yourself, Let's Play A Love Game and Kintsugi. They commonly explore alternate universes that run parallel to established canon.
They primarily write for the Batfamily, and their favourite characters include Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, and Slade Wilson.
Retributory Shroud
Meaninglessblah produces original content for the growing Retributory Shroud series.
Events
Meaninglessblah is a moderator and co-moderator for several DC Comics events, which run annually. These events include:
- DC Dark Week - a week-long event to celebrate and explore Darkfic and problematic content
- DC Make It Poly Week - a week-long event to celebrate and explore polyamorous relationships
- DCU Rarepair Exchange - an exchange to celebrate rarepairs
- DC Aspec Week - a week-long event for creators and characters on the asexual and aromantic spectrums
- DC Dream Daddy Week - a week-long event to celebrate and explore Daddy/Daddy ships
They also regularly participate in numerous other DC Comics events throughout the year.
