Summary

From a distributor, Agent With Style: "Beginning six months after the Cardiff bombings, Jack Harkness follows the Doctor's advice to start writing his thoughts down in a journal so that he can process them, and that helps greatly. But Jack discovers that the journal also becomes a silent witness to his life, as he and his Circle (Ianto, Owen, Tosh, Rose, Gwen and Rhys) band together to love and help one another—and to raise their daughter, Vic.

From pre-school to her first (and only) attempt at running away, to becoming old enough to leave home and start Dreaming of her own Circle, Jack and his family laugh, cry and love their way through Vic's childhood and teenaged years. Whether it's Rhys' joy of cooking, or Ianto's fastidiousness, or Tosh's brilliance with computers, each Number has something to teach their daughter, with Jack, as Number One, holding Circle Harkness together.

Torchwood is a house that holds seven incongruous parents, an only slightly rebellious child, a scrawny stray cat named Myfanwy, and more love than can be contained in the scrawled pages of a captain's journal..."
