Gwen Cooper, portrayed by Eve Myles, is the main female character on the TV series Torchwood. She is introduced as a police constable before joining the Torchwood team and acts as the POV character for the audience. She later acts as team leader in Jack's absence.
Fandom
Gwen is often criticised by fans for her hypocritical behaviour (e.g. giving retcon to her boyfriend). She is also a frequent victim of character bashing.
The announcement that Eve Myles had been cast in Series 2 of Broadchurch, meant some fans were looking forward to crossover fic in 2015. While crossovers with Broadchurch are rare, crossovers with other supernatural fandoms and/or UK based fandoms are reasonably common, with Gwen often appearing.
Shipping
