Truth Is a Whisper is a Merlin/Arthur story by seperis (~25,000 words).
Summary: Words can also be mightier than the sword.
In this story Arthur is secretly still a virgin and Merlin is known for his sex-loving ways. When he finds out that all of Camelot thinks Arthur is physically incapable of having sex, Merlin claims that he and Arthur are lovers. First they pretend to be couple and then all the UST leads to the lie actually becoming true. But that's not enough because the rumors have dangerous consequences and with Gwen's help Merlin sets out to protect Arthur and get back at the person spreading the rumors.
Shine wrote a sequel to Truth Is a Whisper with the title Ten Weeks (6,750 words).[1]
Truth Is a Whisper has been podficced by two different people. One podbook version is read by crinklysolution[2] and the other by villainny.[3] Both versions are available at the Audiofic Archive. dodificus said about villainny's reading: "A delightful English accent that captures this story perfectly, she rocked my world during the sex scenes (of which there are many! and so deliciously hot they are) and she kept all the voices distinct."[4]
