The Weird Stuff was a letterzine with a focus on TV series with supernatural, paranormal or alien elements (e.g. War of the Worlds, Shadow Chasers). The attraction of these memes was discussed, research into the topics, the introduction of the memes into series where they are present, etc.
It had a role-playing game focus. From a July 1993 ad in GAZ: "A letterzine for the War of the Worlds Role Playing Fan Club: The Second Invention. If you want to join the on-going, through the mail, role playing fan club, let me know!"
