The Video Co-op Library was established to help fans interested in exploring new fandoms and consisted of video tapes featuring the "best of" episodes from different fandoms. Tapes were donated by fans for fans. An ad in Media Monitor from 1993 asked interested parties to send a SASE for a "complete listing/info on donating/borrowing."

From Media Monitor: "Each tape is designed to give you a feel for that particular fandom, so you can understand and appreciate the fan fiction more."

According to Media Monitor, fandoms covered were: Adderly, Alien Nation, Beauty and the Beast, Blake's 7, Hardcastle and McCormick, Lancer, Man from UNCLE, Monkees, Perfect Strangers, The Professionals, Quantum Leap, Remington Steele, Riptide, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Simon and Simon, Starman, Star Trek: TOS , Star Trek: TNG, Stingray, 21 Jump Street, and War of the Worlds.
