The Cascade Times Fan Fiction Awards (also known as the Burtons) were a gen Sentinel fan fiction series of awards that ran from 2000 to 2005. The Awards were hosted by the Cascade Times Mailing List, a Sentinel Yahoo Group mailing list. The list was started in 1998 and remained active until about 2011.

Within each category there were many sub-categories like "Humor," "drabble," "Scary or Horror," "Angst," "Smarm," "That could have been an episode," "Dramatic," "Long Story," "Crossover," "Alternate Universe." Making the awards structure even more complex, is the fact that sub-categories were specific to each category with very little overlap.
