Temuera Morrison is a professional actor, probably best known to fandom for portraying Jango Fett and Boba Fett in Star Wars.

Fandom
Boba Fett as a character has had a fandom since the bounty hunter first appeared in the original Star Wars movies, but there was considerable surge in popularity and interest when the character was more deeply explored in Attack of the Clones, and once again when the character appeared in The Mandalorian. These fans were even more excited when it was announced that the character would get his own show, The Book of Boba Fett.
Some fans feel like Morrison and Ming-Na Wen were ripped off by the show-runners in Star Wars: e.g.

It should also be mentioned that while sidelining Din in his own show is of course aggravating and awful, please also be aware of the erasure of Boba Fett and Temuera Morrison’s influence on Mandalorian culture. Ever since Dave Filoni stepped into star wars he has done pretty much everything he could to erase any traces of Temuera’s impact regarding mando culture. [2]
Fans were hopeful at the news that Morrison would be playing Rex in a live-action series about the Clones.[3]
