John/Ronon is a m/m slash pairing in Stargate: Atlantis fandom. The pairing name is commonly abbreviated to first names only. Canon rarely uses Ronon's last name or rank, and this may explain why the fandom picked up the first name habit with this pairing.

A common theme in fanworks for the pairing is the mix of soldier and outsider that both characters represent in canon. The pair are clearly friendly in a relaxed way on the show, and that seems to translate to less angst in John/Ronon fics than in some other pairings.
