Piri Lupin-Snape aka Piriotessa is a fanfiction author most active in Harry Potter fandom.
She has written fanfiction since at least 2002 and was still active in 2018. She started the Yahoo! group Fiction_works on May 26, 2002 and announced updates to her fics on the list through June 2002.[note 1]
About
- First and foremost remember that I am an AU writer. I will not stick solely to canon, so don't ask me to because I won't. Far as I'm concerned if I wanted to read a canon fic then hell - I'd go re-read the books. The entire point of writing (and reading) FAN BASED FICTION is because you weren't or aren't 100% satisfied on the 'canon' that was written. So yeah ... if you can't take reading AU then I'm not the writer for you! :P
- I adore writing dark, angst-filled, plot-driven fics with the (usually) very happy endings, so expect that there will be twists and turns whenever possible.
- I DO NOT write 'sexy, smutty fics.' Doing hard-core sex scenes when writing on an 'adult RP group' is one thing (something I have done in the past and do enjoy when the time calls for it), but writing sex/smut for the public eye is totally another cauldron. I do not want to be known as a 'smut writer' be it in my fics or in my original works - I know smut sells better but ... it's just not me ... no see I prefer tastefully written love scenes for my public audience. Heck, it took me 3 days just to write the scene between Sev and Remus in 'An Experiment Gone Wrong,' and that is as hard-core as I'm likely to ever get again so do not expect more from me.
- Pairings will usually adhere to the ones I normally write (though I'm fond of throwing in odd pairings now and again so don't be surprised if you find some). For those that may not be wholly familiar with my work my 'normal' pairings are: Sev/Remus (I was the 1st person to officially create, launch and Captain the "Master and Wolf" SHIP on FictionAlley, as well as have spent all these years bringing many a non-believer over to the joys of this wonderful pairing ... and I hope to continue bringing folks onto my adored SHIP for years to come!), Sev/Remy/Siri, Harry/Draco, Siri/Peter (AU/Marauder days/TT/pre-betrayal times ONLY), and smatterings of Canon/OCM and Canon/OCFs on occasion.
- MPREG - personally I have no issues with it in other fics, but for my own part I will not write a full fic based around it. I have no problem indicating that a male is, hopes to be or has been pregnant, but it is almost always as a result of a spell/potion/or some other viable (or even wonky) situation that got them there. I also will not write any details involving giving birth/etc, if anything it is written as an 'off-screen' assumption it happened and not how/etc (basically no full-on details).
