MiniMerlin is a small relaxacon held in Philadelphia. While the focus is on Merlin/Arthur, other ships are welcomed.

From the 2010 FAQ:

"Minimerlin is a non ship specific con. Last year it ended up being predominantly Merlin/Arthur fans, but fans of all ships, hell, fans who aren't ship-specific, are equally welcome. The con is going to be rather informal, more of a get together and hanging out with fans, no real panels and only a few scheduled, and completely optional, activities (thus far: a vid show, episode watching, possible tour of historic Philadelphia)."

Planned activities from the February 28th, 2010 community post

Friday:

  • Registration, with a fun "icebreaker" activity and a surprise "party favor" for everyone.
  • Sign ups for the MiniMerlin Photo/Video Scavenger Hunt, which will be going on all weekend, so be sure to bring your digital cameras!
  • Later in the evening, we'll have our episode party, with about 2-3 of the top episodes as voted on by the con attendees (an LJ poll will be going up on March 5th).
  • Vid Show, Part I (about 30-45 mins, also decided by LJ poll, which will also be going up on the 5th. If you haven't already nominated your favorite vids for the show, then be sure to do that by March 5th.)

Saturday:

  • During the day, we'll have several optional excursions out and about in Philadelphia. Some possibilities include a visit to South Street (cheesesteaks and shopping), the historic district (Liberty Bell), Camden Aquarium, and Reading Terminal Market (a farmer's market with food and free live music).
  • In the evening, we'll be having a Merlin Trivia Game with cheesy white elephant prizes
  • Vid Show, Part Deux (another 30-45 mins)

Sunday:

  • Scavenger Hunt winners announced
  • Maybe a post-check-out lunch somewhere for people who don't have to leave until later
