Mari McCabe is a DC Comics character otherwise known as Vixen. She stars in the CW spin-off of Arrow, Vixen.
Canon
Mari McCabe/Vixen first appeared in Action Comics #521 (July 1981) created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner.
Vixen first animated appearance was in Justice League Unlimited, she later appeared in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Teen Titans Go!, and Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths before receiving her own online web series Vixen set in the Arrowverse.
Vixen made her first live-action appearance in the television series Arrow Season 4 Episode 15 "Taken" (February 24, 2016) and is often referenced to in Legends of Tomorrow due to her grandmother's appearance in the series and later her older sister's appearance, Kuasa in Season 3.
