What about the Wintershock pairing appeals to you?
I have a thing for secondary characters, the sidekicks, especially the female ones so I am known for multishipping an awesome lady in every fandom I like. It was natural that, after discovering Darcy/Steve, I would also like the idea of Darcy/Bucky. I think they have a lot in common, they are nurturer to someone with no sense of self-preservation and being that kind of person myself, I probably tend to identify. I also think I want them to find solace in a very ordinary run of things; I like great love stories sure but I adore those headcanons about daily life and intricate well written stories or ideas about their couple and psychology as a ‘life-team’ but with a huge side of credibility (makes me squee). Probably because humans are complicated and beautiful. You can imagine whatever you want with them, go insane in the AUs or not. But once you feel you’ve explored all the 'what ifs’ possible, AUs are your crack
How did you first encounter the ship?
Since the very beginning because running 'Fuckyeahdarcylewis’ kinda puts in the center of the earthquake. So the first time must have been 2011-2012 and with AUs (I think it was a coffee shop AU but not sure)
When did you first start making fandom art?
oh wow first ever? probably on paint at the time BTVS was on, my favorite character was Willow so I made shitty collages on her and Alyson Hannigan (I multishipped her too, told you, long History). I became a little bit better when I was running a french forum about the ship Chloe Sullivan/Lex Luthor from Smallville so I had to up my game because I wanted to make everything 'pretty’ - but I started multishipping her too and people took it badly like I killed someone (I wrote a lot too at that time, in french). Then contests on websites made a good way to apply tutorials, so I read a lot of those to learn (you can see some of those on my deviantartgallery. Then, I watched Thor when it came out and I first thought of Darcy/Loki (2011) because it’s usually how it goes, but because I identify with female characters, I soon realized I could multiship her too (it’s a cool sickness to have in my opinion), so there goes manips of her alone or not, with fusion/crossovers ideas because there’s nothing better than to listen to music and doing a manip for me.
