Lysandre is the leader of Team Flare from Pokémon X and Y. Team Flare is the sixth of many evil teams in the Pokémon series who aim to generally be evil. In Team Flare's case, it is a secret society which aims to create a "beautiful" world by being the only people who will survive the world ending by either Yveltal or Xerneas depending on the game. He also makes appearances in Pokémon Masters, PokéAni, Pokéspe and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, always as a villainous character. He is a fan favorite, though not too many fanworks exist which primarily focus on him.
