Lairport happened in early February 2015. It was when Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson flew on a plane alone together. They hadn’t been seen travelling together since about 2012. They took a 14 hour flight from LA to Sydney, Australia.
Events and Fandom Interpretation
The One Direction OTRA Tour started on February 7, 2015, in Sydney, Australia. The members of One Direction were scattered across the globe but Harry and Louis were both in Los Angeles. The fandom was joking half-nervously about how no one was going to make it to Australia.
One February 4, 2015, Harry and Louis were seen arriving at LAX around the same time and people started wondering if they were traveling together for the first time in years. "Harry and Louis” started trending on Twitter. An update account in Switzerland was sent a picture of Harry and Louis picking up their luggage together on February 5. "Harry and Louis" trended on Twitter for 24 hours.
Larries were all celebrating because it showed Harry and Louis didn't hate each other. Then they were papped separately outside of the airport. Harry's shirt was more ripped than when they entered the plane. They both appeared to be quite happy.
Uptown Funk
During the 14 hours of the flight Larries adopted Uptown Funk as a Larrie anthem. They listened to it a bunch and made gifs and memes. Some examples are:

A Larrie who's tumblr name is buscandoelparaiso said, the day before the tour, February 6th "Tell me they will cover UPTOWN FUNK" and the tags and notes in that post all say things like, "#*praying emoji*" "#LET THIS HAPPEN#I was going wild on uptown fun last night#and I had a thought for harry and louis#obviously#one direction#uptown funk#otra" and "#OH MY GOD COULD YOU IMAGIBE."
During the first OTRA show on February 7th 1D sang Uptown Funk. [1] One Direction members sung the song multiple times after that as well.
