jarrow first came into fandom through Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which ironically had replaced the first show he was obsessed with, Savannah. From there, he dove headfirst into the femslash, especially Buffy/Faith and the canonical Willow/Tara. He started and ran the "fuffy" lj community, but was never part of Internet fandom as most people practiced it on boards and the like before diving into Tumblr in 2011.
He is a self-proclaimed convention junkie and wrote/hosted fannish game shows at multiple cons run by the now-defunct Booster Events and Moonlight Rising. He is also the three-time undefeated Buffy Jeopardy champion at DragonCon (2005-2007).
His next big fandoms were Harry Potter, Firefly, and Battlestar Galactica. Introduced to vidding in 2006, he first went to Vividcon in 2007 and attended every year thereafter until its end in 2018. His early vids were Battlestar Galactica femslash. He is currently known for his Glee femslash vids, as well as his vidding series "Killing Eve Swiftly," which features a fanvid to a Taylor Swift song for each season of Killing Eve.
jarrow created FaberryCon, a convention for Quinn/Rachel shippers, and the 18-minute vid The Coming Out of Quinn Fabray. He was briefly on the con comm for Pacificon (along with jedusaur, exmanhater, and Rhea314) before dedicating his focus on founding TGIF/F (TGI Femslash), a multi-fandom femslash convention, which held its first event in 2016 and is still active.
jarrow has been a guest on several fannish podcasts, such as Lez Hang Out (topic: Faberry) and This Week in Fandom History.
