Greg Franklin is a prolific Australian fanartist, musician, and convention participant who has created artwork for many zines, in particular for Spock. He is a Life Member of Austrek.

He was mainly active in fandom during the late 1970s to early 2000s; also being involved for some years during that time with Minotaur Bookshop in Melbourne, Australia.

Biography

He has been a Master of Ceremonies or Fan Guest of Honour at many conventions. As FGoH for Trekcon 4 in 1990, he wrote about himself:

EGAD! A biography about me! Do I tell the truth! Well here goes.

I was born (it helps) and was a fan of everything from Zorro to Fireball XL5 and have been since! I've drunk with most of the STAR TREK cast and it's amazing the things they say about each other (all wonderful of course! Eh 'hem).

I've had the pleasure of working with Paul Darrow, Mike Keating, Dave Prowse, Katy Manning, Colin Baker and have enjoyed (almost) every minute.

I play the guitar, love movies, good TV and a good time. My association with Minotaur Books over 8 years has led me to meet many wonderful people who I hope to catch up with at the con.

Make sure you say HI! [1]
