Gothi is a minor character from How to Train Your Dragon series.
Canon Background
Gothi never speaks in any of the parts of the series. She only ever writes in an old language/symbols that few (only Gobber and Fishlegs) can understand. Until the end of the first film, Gothi would choose the top participant in Dragon Training, the one who would get to kill the "Monstrous Nightmare". After Hiccup ended the war with dragons, however, Gothi most likely returned to her job of being the village healer, fortune-seer, and adviser. At the end of the second movie, Gothi performs the ceremony to make Hiccup chief of Berk. Also by the second movie, Gothi has a horde of Terrible Terrors that follow her around and that she seems to keep as pets.
