Stoick the Vast is a character from the How to Train Your Dragon series.
Canon Background
- That's Stoick the Vast, Chief of the tribe. They say that when he was a baby he popped a dragon's head clean off of its shoulders. Do I believe it? Yes, I do.[1]
Stoick's full title is actually Stoick the Vast, Terror of the Seas, Most High Ruler of the Hooligans, O Hear His Name and Tremble, Ugh, Ugh, although he is never called this in the movie universe. Stoick is 45 in the first film and 50 in the second. He has a red beard and hair, green eyes, and stands at a mighty 6' 9". Stoick is chieftain of the Hairy Hooligan tribe on the isle of Berk, father of Hiccup, husband of Valka (Valhallarama in the books), brother of Spitelout Jorgenson, and best friends with Gobber the Belch. He once had a Thunderdrum named Thornado in the TV series, and in the second film, he has a Rumblehorn named Skullcrusher.
