Elfqueen was a slash fan artist and fan writer whose work has appeared both online and in fanzines. She helped found the Kirk/Spock Fanzine Facebook group, "K/S Zine Friends" and had an extension fanzine collection.
She passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 65.
Background
Came into fandom as an author in 2008, began creating digital and photomanipulation art in 2009. She describes her art style as: "I favor romanticism, and aim to re-create that sensibility with all of my artwork."
By 2014 she had created over 1000 artwork manips:
"1,000 manipped images later. Amazing. An amazing and epic run...for the past six years I have studied, practiced and done what I could to master this wonderful form of artmaking. I am not gone for good, just switching gears for a little while. I think 1,000 is a great number!! And I've learned so much and my viewing public has been so generous and so kind, so many wonderful comments, really highlighting my days and making me smile and blush![1]
