  • During the game, in the English release, Clavell asks the player what "cheugy" means, because he'd been called that by one of his students. Many thought the Pokémon team made the word up[2] or had to look it up[3], but it's slang for 'outdated' and was coined some years prior to the games' release in 2013. Other versions asks the player what other words mean. In the German version, he asks what 'cringe' means.[4]
