Daten no Kokuin (堕天の刻印) is a Gankutsuou doujinshi by DUO BRAND. It contains Fernand x Count and Count x Albert and can be considered light yaoi[1] or shounen ai.[2] It contains about half manga and half novel. The text on the front cover reads:
- In order to give a pain more fearful than death to those who were entrapped in despair and nothingness, sublime revenge starts to them.
Shinkirou no Yubisaki (蜃気楼の指先) is a Fernand x Count story in the book. It is sometimes listed (e.g. by scanlation distributors) as a separate doujinshi, but there is no indication that it was ever published alone. It is described as a "very short angsty piece in which Fernand wonders if he's met the Count before..."[3]
Reviews
- "Very, very beautiful piece. I wouldn't consider it the best doujinshi out there for Gankutsuou, but I'd place it near the top. It has quite a bit of interesting Count pairing scenes, so if that floats your boat it's a top recommend. Definitely an astounding cover (I'd consider the cover alone worth the price.) The art within is also very strong. Superb standalones within as well!" -- Shara[4]
- "Prettiest covers I've ever seen on a Gankutsuou doujinshi! Cristo has a very sensitive, tragic design that I love! Amazing and beautiful!" -- Margaret Patton[4]
