Fandoms only?

As a subcategory of Fandoms by Canon Type, I think this category should contain only fandom articles. I'd like to remove "characters/settings" from the category description and move the few pages here that are glossary terms etc to Video Game Fandom. --sparc 16:02, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. I was poking around the category and moved some pages already. I don't see any character pages in here, so I'm not sure what was meant by that note.--aethel (talk) 01:17, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

This discussion of moving items between Video Game Fandom and Video Games is good. I'm also worried about potential confusion about what goes in each - do we want to rename one of these categories besides just changing to make it more clear what kind of article goes in each category? Are we happy with their current locations in their respective parent categories, or do we want to make one a child of the other? -- FBV (talk) 01:41, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

I think if we are going to have separate categories then Category:Videos Games should be a sub-category of Category:Video Game Fandom. Also, I think because the names are so similar it would be very easy for new or even experienced editors to put things in the wrong category, I could see it becoming an unintentional mess -- Kingstoken (talk) 01:47, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
