Archie/Maxie, known mostly as HardenShipping , アオマツ (Aomatsu) and/or マツアオ (Matsuao), is a popular ship in the Pokémon fandom. It pairs Archie (Aogiri) and Maxie (Matsubusa), the leader of the villainous Team Aqua and Team Magma respectively, both sworn enemies, in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

- Enemyslash: Both characters are each-others arch-enemies. They lead rival teams, with Team Aqua wanting to expand the oceans while Team Magma wants there to be more land.
- Post-Canon: Fanworks often have them making amends or being on the run together after the events of the games.
- Pre-Canon: Fanworks may incorporate that they used to be "on the same team," something said by a Magma grunt in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Popular fanon is that they were both in Team Rocket before making their own teams.
- May and Brendan: Their defeat by either player characters May or Brendan may be the catalyst for them working together again. For May especially, she may be their adopted daughter.
