YGO Rarepair Week is a fanweek for fans of less common Yu-Gi-Oh! ships. All Yu-Gi-Oh! series are allowed, with specific requirements for each series. The event is hosted in both English and Brazilian Portuguese, though all languages are accepted for submissions.
Rules
1) We will be accepting submissions in any language, as well as any form of media, including: fanarts, fanfics, edits, cosplays, etc.2) All content should be of your own making, being prohibited the use of third-party art. For edits, use official content or content of your own creation.
3) Everyone is responsible for their own works and no form of hate will be tolerated; if you don't like a ship, just ignore it.
4) NSFW is allowed, but there's some extra rules for submitting them:
➝ No explicit art on the tag; instead, post a cropped preview or a blurry picture. The full art must be posted under a link to another site (poipiku, privatter, etc.).
➝ Write the ship name on the post and any additional warnings you feel that are needed. You must put the right warnings!
➝ The moderation is not responsible for inappropriate viewing of NSFW material; if you choose to click the link, you are consenting to what is behind it.
5) We will continue accepting submissions until a week after the initial deadline; we understand that unforeseen things happen!
6) All works must be ships with canonical characters! We won't accept Canon x OC pairings.
2022
2022 marked the first year the event was hosted. The event was hosted solely on Twitter this year, and ran from August 7th to 15th. The 2022 mods were Mary, Toro, and Jells.
Requirements
Duel Monsters: Any ship with less than 70 works on Ao3
GX, 5D's, Zexal, ARC-V, Vrains: Less than 40 works on Ao3
Sevens: Less than 30 works on Ao3
Go Rush: No restrictions, due to overall lack of works for Go Rush.
Manga: Any ship with manga only characters is considered valid.
OCG/TCG: Any ship based on the OCG/TCG is valid.[1]
