Winter Celchu (née Winter Retrac) is a supporting character from Star Wars Legends. Introduced in the tie-in novel Heir to the Empire, Winter is a childhood friend and close confidante of Leia Organa and caretaker for the three Solo children, noted for her calm demeanor and regal bearing.

Working under the name of Targeter, Winter used her eidetic memory to help the Rebellion and later the New Republic. Although her physical appearance varies depending on the work in question, her name is a nod to her prematurely white hair.

Leia’s best friend/surrogate sister who sometimes acts as a decoy for her so they can get more shit done for the Rebellion and who has an eidetic memory that is both incredibly useful for her work and incredibly painful for her personal life because she can never ever forget the awful things she’s seen?
