Wings of a Butterfly is a Merlin/Arthur vid by Solanyxe (2:11 min).
Summary: The good ol' plot "Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic and falls in love with him" is never too old, apparently. XD
Arthur accidentally observes Merlin using magic, keeps quiet about it and struggles with what that means. He finally confronts Merlin aggressively and Merlin defends himself with magic. Arthur draws his sword and they have a stand-off, but Merlin decides that he can't and won't hurt Arthur. Arthur attacks him but can't bring himself to hurt Merlin either. They are both relieved and with the violent tension broken, they realize that a different kind of tension is still there. They kiss and taking it from there they hastily undress and end up in bed.
The whole vid is in b&w except for Merlin's eyes when he does magic and the butterflies when Merlin and Arthur kiss. The editing is brilliant and especially the confrontation between Merlin and Arthur, which is completely constructed, creates the illusion of one seamless scene when it's nothing but. Later the scene where they undress and Arthur throws Merlin on the bed is another example of this kind of editing.
