Victoria Hardwick is a minor character from the television show Smallville. She appears in the show's first season as Lex Luthor's old flame, who attempts to persuade him to help her and her father take over Lex's father's company, LuthorCorp.
She and Lex resume a relationship, but each double-crosses the other despite their business plans. She also sleeps with Lionel Luthor.
Fan Response
Victoria is generally unpopular with fans, who are critical of both the character and her portrayer, Kelly Brook. Television Without Pity's recaps dubbed her "Boobs McChesty", which was adopted on other sites such as KryptonSite's message boards, whose FAQ states succinctly "Most people at KryptonSite did not seem to enjoy her acting on Smallville."[1][2] velvetglove writes in their fandom overview for crack_van:
- "Based on snippets from the original scripts that have surfaced, Victoria was supposed to be a clever, conniving minx. Onscreen, however, Victoria barely had dialogue and wasn't even very good at being decorative. She was a standout not only for her placid zombidity, but also for her freakish lack of chemistry with Lex/Michael Rosenbaum."[3]
