The Not-Valentine's Itty-Bitty Podfic Anthology is a podfic anthology, a collection of podfic stories recorded by fire juggler and covering a wide range of authors and fandoms. The anthology was created to "not-celebrate" Valentine's Day and also to help brighten February which is "the grimmest month."

2012

According fire juggler, the collection consists of

23 podfics of ficlets and drabbles (no more than 1000 words each) from 11 fandoms. They range from angst to PWP to fluff to humor. There's femmeslash, gen, het, and slash. What they do have in common is that they are all brilliant little snippets that build a whole world in just a few words."

"Like last year, these are all short fics, no more than 1000 words apiece (many of them much shorter). The anthology this year has 18 short podfics from 15 fandoms. Ratings range from General Audiences to Explicit and themes range from sweet to quiet to grim to heartbreaking to sexy. What these fics have in common is that I think that they are awesome. I remain in awe of authors who can evoke strong emotion and beautiful mental pictures in few words, so this is a celebration of that. It is intended as an anthology and there is a chaptered audiobook and zipped mp3 album of the whole, but you'll also find individual download links for each podficlet as well (below the cut), if you prefer to pick and choose. There is also streaming for the individual podfics. Many, many thanks to the authors, all of whom have give blanket permission to record their podfics. You are all wonderful and amazing and I had such fun exploring and dabbling in all these little worlds you created."
