The Hannibal Twitter Takedown of 2020 is a meta post on Tumblr from October, 2020, in reaction to the Hannibal Twitter Wars. It was first posted here at Fanlore as an article, but was removed as a personal essay that did not comply with Fanlore's PPOV policy.

It begins with a brief overview of the Hannibal (TV Series) fandom and claims to provide "documentation of the events taking place on Hannibal fandom Twitter in 2020," but it is not at all unbiased: it is an anti-shipper rant. It brings up Bryan Fuller's "problematic" history as well as the Twitter and fanwork histories of some of his supporters as evidence that the "Rainbow Meaties," Hannibal fandom's pro-shippers, are worthy of hatred[1], with the conclusion that their arguments are wrong taken as self-evident.
