The Baby Is You is a rock opera musical made by Radiation & friends, roughly 14 minutes long and consisting of 11 parts. It includes art by astroliner. It is a deliberately crude work about mpreg made in reaction of rules on the MS Paint Adventures forums.

The MSPA forum's Art forum had a "no pregnant kids" rule, and there was some wank and discussion about censorship.[citation needed] Radiation decided to test the rule (quote: "i wonder if the pregnant kids thing extends to song") by creating an album that centers around Dave Strider giving birth to John Egbert. The album can be considered a deliberate shockfic due to this.

The Baby Is You was posted on the forum on October 14, 2010.[1] It was quickly met with shock and horror, as well as some amusement, and removed by mods a short time later. Radiation was also banned from the forum by mods, a significant reaction, considering he was on the Homestuck creators team.

On December 24, a user called "anonymousbaby" post the album on the forum again. It was removed by mods with a notice that "Posting anything from this album is unacceptable."[2].

The musical could be downloaded on super-villain.org until some time in 2016. All the content including art and lyrics can currently be found on recordcrash.com.

Shadok posted Homestuck: The Baby is You Animated on Apr 13, 2017, and animatic using the full album.

The musical gamed more attention after the popularity Undertale of Radiation/Toby Fox's indie game. People unfamiliar with Homestuck who watched the musical were also shocked by it.
