Yeah no problem, I left it there as I didn't have many spoons to go into it, especially as I'm not that deep in the fandom. But the main thing I was wanting to include was the issue surrounding Yelena and whether she is or isn't aroace. Think it was Word of God somewhere? So Tumblr posts started showing up about how shipping her with anyone was iffy. Then you had counterarguments about a) it's not ever been fully confirmed, and b) aroace folk can be in romantic relationships. Discussions around aroace representation, amatonormativity in fandom, queerplatonic relationships, even I got involved and talked about unrequited kate/yelena etc. Some of this could go on her own character page, but I think a lot of it was centred around the context of Yelena/Kate especially, given it's her most popular ship. -- OfMonstersAndWerewolves (talk) 13:41, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
