Talk:Victoria Bitter Wank
So if "Victoria Bitter Wank" is a fandom occurrence, when was it? what was it? Who called it "Victoria Bitter Wank"? This information should be in the first paragraph. Right now it looks like a duplicate of Thanfiction.--aethel (talk) 00:08, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I hear that. Maybe the two pages should be combined. --MPH (talk) 03:23, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
- According to Talk:Victoria Bitter, this page was originally created to document the sockpuppetry/pseudocide/fraud stuff in the LOTR fandom so that it would appear in the LOTR category. If we do keep this page (I could go either way), then it should only cover the things Thanfiction did while using the name Victoria Bitter, not all Thanfiction-related wank. --sparc 04:45, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
- I think that's why the VB wank page was created, because the VB/LOTR was highlighted there as it was substantial enough to have its own page. It's likely that there's been too much bleed-over. Perhaps the intro to the VB page needs to be beefed up so that its separate function is clearer?
- These big pages/subjects are really complicated. Another example of a page that needs to be better at keeping the person and the controversies separate are is Msscribe: there should be one for Msscribe herself, and one for the internet expose; right now (I think) they are entwined. --MPH (talk) 14:03, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
