Someone made an edit to the page that indicated an author had been outed accidentally; looking at the page now, I can see that this issue has not been resolved--it looks like one author with two aliases, rather than two different authors--but I'm not sure which way it should be edited. Someone who knows the author(')s(') wishes should probably review the page.--æthel 17:09, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- It was my impression from previous edits to articles that both pseuds currently on the site are okay to use, just not the real name that the previously linked site used. This had cropped up a couple of times when that archive was linked here rather than the author's own page. On the Ltlj site the author uses Martha Wilson for gen stories Victoria Custer for slash stories, so these are associated voluntarily.--Ratcreature 17:46, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, now I get it. But shouldn't the page history be wiped? I was able to find the previous URL by looking through the history.--æthel 17:59, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the catch! I'll let the wiki admins know - they're the only ones who can wipe a page history. (Privacy concerns can always go directly to them by any user/visitor, as well - they don't need to be filtered through the gardeners.) --Arduinna 19:14, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- There are other pages where this has been an issue with this author. If we remove it here, the page history there should be wiped too: Who's Scruffy Looking?, A Tremor in the Force, and Ltlj are the ones I can find. --Doro 19:28, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! --Arduinna 19:53, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, I think I fixed this one. Can someone send the other one that needs to be fixed to the wiki list? --21:02, 3 December 2009 (UTC)~ Meri
