Talk:Red Dwarf
I think there's still some pretty obvious stuff missing on this page, but hopefully it's better now.
- Info about early fanfic. I think there was probably a step between the few zines we have records of and the Yahoo groups, including the archives obviously.
- When was the first Red Dwarf fic published?
- When was the first Red Dwarf fic published (and where).
- When was the first online Red Dwarf fic?
- Info about fanart
- Info about other conventions (if any). Should we just steal the wikipedia page about Dimension Jump? (It's pretty good) Or is linking to it OK? The info is around, even if it's not hosted on Fanlore.
- Tropes of Lister/Rimmer fic - but maybe that's a different page.
Any ideas would be good :) --Aralias (talk) 18:18, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
- The page looks really good! I have no idea about first fanfic, etc. but I tweaked the structure of the page a bit and added a zine cover to the zine section. --Doro (talk) 16:04, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
- This is a great improvement! I've added some material about the fandom pre-2000, started an article for the main fanclub and done some expansion to their long-running zine Better than Life. There's a lot more info in some of the sources I've used, but I haven't found anything about fanfiction/art. I think it would be better not to copy the Dimension Jump article from Wikipedia as their interests are different from ours, but it would be trivial to knock up a stub and the con's website will have up-to-date information.
